Hi!
My name is Neil and I made this site to serve as a starting point for anyone interested in Virtual Reality filmmaking. The ideas are shared in the hopes that filmmakers and storytellers will explore the medium more easily by having the technical hurdles lifted (a bit).
I would like to thank Visual Playground in Melbourne for letting me use some of their footage and for putting me on the path to VR in the first place, the Kinetic in South Africa for their patience while I learn everything I can, and Christopher Barker for indulging my rants and flights of fancy.
The site is very much a work in progress, so if you spot anything that grinds your gears or isn’t clear… don’t rant, give me a shout and I’ll have a look at it.
